Description:  Madison EMS invites you to participate in our free “Stop the Bleed” training course, designed to teach individuals how to effectively respond to bleeding emergencies. Uncontrolled bleeding from any cause can result in death within minutes, making immediate intervention critical. This hands-on course equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to act swiftly and decisively when faced with a bleeding emergency.

Course Highlights:

  • Learn how to identify different types of bleeding.
  • Practice applying pressure and dressing to wounds.
  • Discover techniques to pack wounds and apply tourniquets.
  • Gain understanding of when and how to seek further medical assistance.

Who Should Attend:  This course is ideal for anyone in the community who wants to be prepared to save a life. Whether you are a parent, educator, student, or community member, learning these skills could make a difference in an emergency situation.
